Fun Things to Do in Dripping Springs, Texas

Ledgestone Senior Living is proud to provide a senior living community in the Dripping Springs area.

Dripping Springs is the location of Ledgestone Senior Living (with independent living, assisted living, and memory care housing options). This town lies in the Texas Hill Country about 25 miles west of Austin, the state capital. This beautiful town offers majestic views, abundant wildlife, rolling hills, and rock bottom creeks.

Whether you’re coming from far away or close-by to visit a family member in our community – or even if you’re just passing through, here are a few cool spots you might want to visit during your stay:

Sol’stice Gardens

This yard art and sculpture garden is a great destination for those visiting or living in the Hill Country. The Sol’stice Gardens are three acres of yard art, sculptures, and beautiful landscaping. If you’re looking for an artsy place to visit, this is your spot. Take a walk around, get some fresh air, and enjoy the art. This location is open every day of the week so go ahead and stop by!

By the way, they also provide landscaping services if that’s something you’re interested in.

Jump Wild

Jump Wild is a place where kids can have fun in a safe environment while parents take a moment to relax and socialize. It’s a locally owned and operated trampoline park and bounce house with 3600 square feet of wall-to-wall trampolines and a great spot for families to hang out for a few hours. Their hours are a little short on weekdays, but they do take reservations for birthday parties after closing.

Hamilton Pool Preserve

This swimming hole is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. There are opportunities to picnic, hike, and swim here. Keep in mind that pets are not allowed on the preserve, even on leashes. But if you like spending time outdoors and maybe even want to go for a swim, this is the place to go during your visit to Dripping Springs.

Wine Tastings & Tours

There are a few options throughout Dripping Springs for those who are over 21 years old and enjoy a good wine tasting. The Sidecar Tasting Room is just one of the locations in Drippings Springs to offer wine tastings. This location has happy hour pricing from 2 to 6 p.m. It is a part of Bell Springs Winery, which is available for private events, such as weddings and receptions. They often provide live music on the weekends. The Duchman Family Winery is another location that provides both wine tours and tastings. They also have hosted a few weddings in the past. If you’d like to see more than one winery, the Dripping Wine Trail might be the right tour for you.

As you can see, Dripping Springs has a lot of variety as far as activities go. Make sure to check out at least one of these spots when you visit. We are sure you’ll enjoy your visit!
